Mr. Whale's Fantastic Voyages

I really love this piece! Upon inheriting a large sum of money from his deceased uncle who started a giant toothpaste empire, Mr. Whale has decided to put his affairs in order and take a journey around the world via his trusty pink balloon. Right now, he is starting his travels above the snow covered highways of Denver, Colorado. I may include Mr. Whale off in the distance in some of my future pieces. The Denver picture was a photograph I took from an airplane. Ironically, Denver was the end of my journey rather than the beginning. I drew the jacket on Mr. Whale myself. The highlights on the jacket were made by drawing gray lines and smudging them. Since drawing is very new to me, if you have any suggestions as to where else I should put highlights or where I should remove them I'd be happy to hear it!
